David Tepper has been working with Joey Casella Productions since 1986. He is a
Drummer/Percussionist, Vocalist, and Stage Performer. He grew up in Northern
New Jersey and studied in New York with well-respected educator Sam Ulano. He
graduated from Rowan University with a BA in Applied Percussion & Commercial
Music. During his college years he also studied the vibraphone with David
Samuels of Spyrogyra fame.
In addition to his regular performance schedule he also maintains a teaching studio.
His students continue to do very well and regularly attend major conservatories,
play clubs, cruise ships, or tour with label signed bands.
David has worked up and down the East Coast, including the Atlantic City
Showrooms and Westbury Music Fair, as well as in Europe. He is the Staff
Percussionist at Woodloch Pines Resort and has also performed with the Joeffry
Ballet, Eddie Daniels, George Young, and Al Grey. He is the Timpanist for St.
Bernadette's Catholic Church and does some studio work with local artists and
publishing companies. He is currently focusing his energy on the vibraphone and
bringing his music out to Senior Living Centers.
